Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

My daughter is two today!!! Where did the time go?!? This is such a fun age. And to celebrate today I'm wearing my Woo Kaftan dress from Golden Tote (I'm in love) and I bought my daughter the same dress in a miniature version (in the watermelon color) from the Woo website! It was a bit big on her, but will probably fit her better next summer!!! She had just woken up from a nap and did not want her picture taken.

Popbasic has some exciting things going on, so I thought I'd tell you about them! The Jane Collection will be available next week on the 1st of July at 10am PST. Yay!!! Check it out here if you want to learn more.

The red Le Breton will be available for pre-order on the 8th of July at 10am PST. Also, if you pre-ordered the original Le Breton shirt, it is shipping out this week. I can't wait to get mine!

Also, if you'd like to save $15 (and haven't already signed up for Popbasic e-mails and used a referral link), you can click any Popbasic link in this post to receive $15 towards your purchase. The Paloma Collection (my favorite collection) is still available, so order now if you don't want to miss out! Check out my review for the collection here.

The other thing I'm so excited for, is for my Golden Tote Surprise Item Tote to ship. The surprises are always my favorite items and I can't wait to see what I get! The best thing is, the surprise tote won't sell out, so if you thought you missed it, you can still order one today. Also, I was planning on skipping a July tote, to save some money, but I have loved every spoiler so far. What are your thoughts on the July items?!? I know I won't be able to pass some of them up, including this top that I absolutely need!

What's on your mind today?!?

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

So, one thing I've learned from moving is if you still have access to the mail at both houses (I only moved 15 minutes away from our old house), then do not forward your mail until you have everything switched to the new address. I've had subscriptions sent back to the companies, I haven't gotten anything that was supposed to be forwarded, and it has been a complete headache and huge mess. I apologize to everyone for the lack of reviews in May, as most of my mail did not make it to me. I'm hoping June goes a little smoother, but we'll see, because so far I haven't received much of anything.

And this week I have some exciting news!!! We have a new member of our family and I want to introduce you to his furry, adorable face. My 2 year old daughter could not be more excited! We've all fallen head over heels for this little guy!!! He's a 14 week old Shih Tzu that we've named Winston!

I  don't want him to be the only one in the house not getting mail, so I'm going to need to find him the perfect doggy subscription box. What do you all suggest??? I'm really interested in only feeding him products made in the US, so I'm hoping I can find a subscription that fits this. Let me know which subscriptions are your favorites for your furry friends!

I, of course, caved within minutes of the Golden Tote sale opening for June and bought a $49 tote. I'm justifying it because it's only the small one this month and I resisted the urge to add on any extras (though I keep looking at the Florence Short in navy and wonder if I'm going to regret not adding them on). The shirt I selected (Road Trip Tee) looks very versatile and I can't wait to wear it. Who cares if my entire wardrobe is comprised of stripes! I needed this shirt!!! And Golden Tote released a surprise spoiler, the Puella Slouchy Pants. They made 1500 pairs in a black/white pattern and solid black (pictures below)! When I first saw them I was a little sad, because I just purchased patterned pants that are very similar and I was searching for the perfect pair, when I obviously should have waited. But then I realized there was a solid black pair and I definitely need those in my life! I'm hoping I get the solid black pair and if I get the patterned ones, I hope I'm able to trade for the black ones.

Did you order a Golden Tote for June yet?!? If you did, what did you choose? I'd love to hear about it.

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I haven't participated in this link up in a couple weeks. We moved last week and it's been a little hectic.

I'm having the worst time getting my packages delivered to either my old address or new address and it's very frustrating. Most shipped USPS and if you've ever had to call their customer service number or tried to speak with someone at a local post office, you probably feel my pain. Like with most companies, you are given the run around, oh, you'll need to call this office, I can't see your information, and so on and so on, around in circles. So, I should have more reviews up for May, but I will most likely post them in June, if my packages ever make it to me. Aghhhh. Why do they not just forward when you fill out an address forward form?!? Isn't that what is supposed to happen? It will make me very sad if they get sent back to the vendors instead of me :(

I should be getting my Golden Tote today and that one is being delivered to my new address, so it should not end up in the pile of packages some post office has for me. And if it does, I will be tracking that one down and picking it up immediately. I already feel like I waited too long for this month's tote and I'm so anxious to see what I get. I'm loving almost all the surprise items I've seen so far. I can't wait to see if it was a mistake to choose the paisley pants. I've seen so many people trading them and they never sold out. I'm hoping they fit me and don't look completely ridiculous on me. I really wanted the striped pants from last month and the slouchy statement pants from this month, but both sold out faster than my connection to check out. And I'm hoping to get the grey/white eyelet Priddy by Puella dress this month. It's so my style!

I'm really excited about the Popbasic Paloma collection, that should be on sale next week. I will be ordering as soon as I get notice that it's available. Will you be ordering???  I recently posted some spoiler pictures and information about Popbasic, that you can check out here.

I don't have too much to talk about, since I've been concentrating on moving and trying to unpack a ton of moving boxes. I'll be happy when that's over and we can start renovating and decorating.

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

My Golden Tote for April should be arriving tomorrow and I can't wait! I feel like I'm missing out on lots of great trades, but I'm secretly hoping I love everything in my tote, so I don't have to trade anything! I had the worst dream about my April Golden Tote this week and now I'm so worried it will come true. In my dream, I didn't get most of the items I ordered and did not receive enough surprise items and the ones I did, I didn't like at all. Also, I wanted to try everything on so bad, but kept getting interrupted in my dream and wasn't able to. I woke up annoyed and still waiting (in real life) for my real Golden Tote to arrive. I should pay for faster shipping, so I don't have to torture myself like this, but I always forget and just try to order as quick as I can, so the items I am trying to order don't sell out.

Does anyone else dream about their subscription boxes or am I just crazy and far too addicted?!?

The weather where I am is driving me crazy. It's seriously 80 degrees one day and snowing the next. And now I have a cold/allergies/something. Anyways I hate being sick and am a total baby about it. My mind is always so cloudy and I just can't be productive at all when I'm sick. And trying to prepare to move and being unproductive definitely do not go together. I'm hoping whatever I have goes away very quickly.

I've cut back on subscriptions recently and the months seem so much longer now. I would love to get boxes all the time! If only I could win the lottery, so I could buy whatever subscription boxes I wanted!!!

And one thing I'm going to bring up that annoyed me this week. I ordered from Birchbox, so I could get the adorable Yumi Kim iPhone case! I received my package this week...and the Yumi Kim case was not included. It was on my order, but not in the box. Birchbox customer service has always been amazing, so I called and to my disappointment I was told they were completely out of Yumi Kim cases. Apparently they sold out much quicker than anticipated! So, I didn't get one, even though the code worked fine and the case was added to my order. Boo hoo hoo. I know...it shouldn't be a big deal, but I so wanted that case. It was perfect for spring!!! Perfect!!!

Birchbox did add points to my account to make up for me not getting the free gift with purchase, but I'm still bummed. No fault on them. It seems to happen to me often, I always miss out on those great opportunities for gifts with purchases or amazing coupons or whatever. It's just my luck I suppose.

What are your Thursday Thoughts?

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

There are still a few days to enter my Spring Giveaway Contest. Enter here today.

It looks like we're finally starting to get some Spring weather. Yeah, it's still quite frosty in the mornings, but it warms up by the afternoon and we even have some sun. Yay!!!! I'll take it!

My Popsugar Must Have Special Edition Resort box shipped! Yay!!! But I don't have an estimated arrival date yet, and it appears a lot of other people have received delayed shipping emails from Popsugar saying their boxes won't ship out until next week. I don't expect to get mine anytime soon, as it usually takes forever to get to me, but I'm happy it's at least in transit. The strange thing though, it only weighs 1.7lbs. What can they be shipping to us?!? I'm very curious because the packaging probably weighs about that much. Maybe we're getting air from a tropical place, haha. I can't wait to see what's in this box!!!

The beginning of the month is always my favorite! I'm always looking forward to my boxes shipping and of course the Golden Tote sale for the new month to launch. And now Popbasic will also be launching their collections in the beginning of the month. The Ashbury collection is available now, including a vegan leather skirt. So exciting!

So, we've decided to buy a house that's a bit bigger than where we are now, which is necessary. But we haven't closed yet and we want to get our current house listed on the market. And it's so difficult to keep the house clean and uncluttered with a toddler running around. I can't keep up with it under normal circumstances, and it requires a whole new level of clean when you want someone to buy it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

What's on your mind today?

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

It is still very cold and snowy and very wintry here, and I'm soooo sick of it. Where is Spring?!? I'm in need of warmer weather!!!! So, in hopes of Spring I have a Spring Giveaway Contest going on now, check it out here. Enter today!

I don't know why I didn't know about this sooner, but ModCloth offers Stylish Surprises a few times a year, where you can order apparel, shoes, or accessories for a real steal of a price. The only catch is you have no idea what you'll get (hence the name) and can't make requests. You are only able to order by size, which can be tricky considering how different sizes run based on the brand.

ModCloth is not usually a website I shop from, but they have a great selection of cute and quirky retro style pieces. This go round Stylish Surprise Apparel was $10 for 1 piece, Stylish Surprise Shoes were $10 for 1 pair, and Stylish Surprise Accessories were $5 for 1 item. By the time I found out about the deal the accessories were sold out, but I was able to snag 1 apparel in my size and 2 pairs of shoes. And my package should be arriving tomorrow already! Yay!!!

I'm excited and nervous and scared to see what I will get. When I received the shipping notification it said the box size was 24x16x8 in. and weight was 6.8lbs. Whatever could it be??? I'm hoping to at least get 1 item I like and that fits right. But the surprise factor made it something I couldn't pass up. I'll review what I get whether I love it or not, so be watching for that, if you're interested. Just to warn everyone I have the worst luck with these type of grab bag deals, so my expectations are really low of what I may receive.

And when is the Popsugar Must Have Limited Edition Resort box going to ship?!? I can't wait to see what is in it. I'm going to try to go spoiler free for this box, but we'll see how long it takes for me to receive mine. I might not be able to wait much longer. Please, please, please.....ship soon!

I really need to get myself on a budget....and fast! This is me...I hear about a deal and buy it immediately without any hesitation and then regret it, because I don't really need it. I just love knowing that I always have a package coming. But, seriously, this has got to stop already. I NEED to save money.

What are you thinking about?

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I'm so tired of cold, snowy weather and definitely ready for Spring. Unfortunately, where I live we won't see that for weeks, so I'm trying to stay positive and concentrate on what makes me happy.

A few weeks ago I won a contest from the blog The Box Queen. I love her posts and style tips! I was so surprised to win, because I enter contests like it's my job, but seriously never win ANYTHING! I was so excited when I received her email that I had won the Ipsy February Glam Bag Giveaway. I've never tried Ipsy before, so it was nice to see what types of items they send. And I loved everything in the bag! Here's a picture of my winnings.

Speaking of contests, I plan to do one again real soon!

Another thing that makes me happy is listening to the Popbasic Popcasts. They crack me up, plus I love hearing about everything they have going on. The founder Madeline Veenstra is inspirational! I love what she has done with Popbasic and all the extra quirky things she does for her fans, like the penpal program, the book club, and the popcasts. It's fun to hear and learn about the business and what she has in store for the future. If you haven't listened to the most recent popcast yet, click on this link to check it out. I loved the "Would You Rather" questions. She just seems like such a genuine person that would be so much fun to hang out with. They announced the next collection will be released April 1st and I'm (not so) patiently waiting for it!!!

I've been checking out the Golden Tote spoilers for March and oh my, I seriously love everything I have seen! I ordered a $49 tote this month and I'll be reviewing it soon. I love what I've seen from the $149 totes too. There isn't one piece that I wouldn't want to have. It's making me want to buy another Golden Tote before the end of the month!

I often think how much fun it would be to work at a Subscription Box company. It'd be a dream job! I've even decided my top 3 to work with would be Popbasic, Golden Tote, and Popsugar Must Have. Can you tell I love clothes (ooh Stitch Fix would be fun too) Seriously, how much fun would it be to help pack up boxes or even have a say in what subscribers get each month? Yes, please! Does anyone else think about this, or am I alone on this one?!? What would be your top choice???

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I'm so excited for all my subscription boxes to arrive this month. I thought it would be a fairly uneventful March, because I was trying to cut back (which really didn't end up happening). I should be getting my first Elizabeth & Clarke Spring 2014 Collection any day now. I'm so excited to see the quality of the shirts I chose. I also already chose my shirts for the Summer 2014 collection, because I couldn't resist one of the shirts.

The Truman (E&C Summer 2014)

I'm very excited for the Popsugar Must Have Limited Edition Resort box (this is sold out now). I ordered this box without even thinking (I'm in desperate need of some warm weather and no more snow). When they released the spoiler I was so happy I purchased on impulse. I love this Cuyana Turkish Towel and can't wait to see it in person. I'll be happy with any color!!! I think I'm really going to love whatever they decide to put in this box, honestly. Anything that makes me think of warm weather, is going to be a hit with me right now.

When Popsugar Must Have releases a Limited Edition box I always think the regular monthly box won't be that great that month, so I was very happy when I saw the spoiler they released for the monthly box. I love it and I can't wait to see it in person. I'm sure it's going to be a great box month!!! Plus 10 subscribers still have the chance for the Lollia gifts to be included in their March box. I'm sure I won't be one of them, but I'll be happy for the ones that do win!

I also broke down and bought a $49 tote from Golden Tote this month. I chose a maxi dress, which reminds me of beachy times (apparently that is where my mind wants to be this month).

Golden Tote March Pick

I'm so thankful for the trading forums that have been created, especially to trade Golden Tote items. For February I was able to purchase the crossover sweater that was a surprise item in the $49 totes from someone trading/selling it in the forums (I ordered a $149 tote for February and did not get the sweater as a surprise item). And I am completely in love with this sweater. It is the perfect mint color, fits amazing and I seriously want to wear it every day!

Also, because of the trading forums I was able to trade the chevron sweater that was too large for me for an amazing spring coat, that I'm so excited for! I needed a coat with a hood that was light weight and this is perfect, plus it has some cute details and a tie waist to make it more fitted. And the people I've traded with have all been so kind. I've had nothing, but pleasant experiences!

As I look out my window and watch the snow coming down, it's clear spring weather is not coming soon enough. I hope all these boxes provide me with the relief from winter that I need at this time of the year. Is anyone else needing Spring?!?

I need to tell my favorite story regarding Spring. When my oldest niece was very young, probably around 3 or 4 we were shopping in Lowe's this time of year. They had the garden center open with all the bright flowers and we had to walk in there, because it was so tempting. When my niece saw it she immediately said, "Oh, so this is where they've been hiding Spring!" I've never cracked up so hard in my life. I still think of that story every Spring (it's probably been about 7 or 8 years now). We really could have written a book with all the clever things that girl says, haha!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I don't know why all my packages get delivered on the same day. They all ship from different areas on different days and some get here quick and some sit in certain states for days, but they all end up on my doorstep on the same day. This month it's Friday! And also Valentine's Day, so it should be eventful for me. I love opening everything up, even if I have already looked at spoilers!!!

So, I need to rave for a minute about how great Wantable's customer service is. I was sooooo disappointed with my Wantable Intimates box for February. (I was really hoping for some cute nighties) Check out my review here, if you want to see what I got. I emailed Wantable customer service inquiring about returning my box, because I wasn't sure it would be as easy as they describe on the website. Well, it was that easy...click the return button in your account, print a label that they email to you, and send it back, all free, no questions asked! And they're sending me a replacement box, hopefully including items I suggested. So I'm happy! It should arrive Friday and I can't wait to see what I get.

Now for a few tips from Wantable, and many of you probably already know this, but it was new to me. I noticed there is a place to review the items in your box on the Wantable website in your account. It shows up by the tracking  and where you would click to return a box. (Not sure how I overlooked this) I always heard others talk about how they could customize their boxes and make requests, but I wasn't sure how they were doing that. So, from now on I'm reviewing every item. Also, they said you can  request specific items and they will try to include them in your box. After you receive the notice that they're putting your box together for you and it will ship out shortly, you can email them with requests. I wish I would have known this sooner, because there is always something I'm hoping for (like when they add a new brand I need to try).

And now...I have a great subscription box deal to share with all of you for a subscription box called Co-Ed Supply. This is a subscription box geared towards college students and sends care packages including all the essentials; healthy snacks, personal care items, and entertainment. With their #sharethelove campaign from now until February 28th, you can get 50% off a 3 month subscription. Use the code LOVECLASSIC to get 3  months of the Classic box for $30 (regularly $60). Use the code LOVEDELUXE to get 3 months of the Deluxe box for $52.50 (regularly $105). Both boxes also include free shipping. Subscribe here today.

But that's not all. For every subscription, Co-Ed Supply will contribute a portion of their profits to send care packages to foster youth in college through this fantastic foundation called Rise Above. Their goal is to send care packages to over 100 of these foster youth in college next month. Help them by subscribing today!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

Okay, so the only thing that has been on my mind lately is the Golden Tote sale for February. I was going to do everything to make sure I got the items I wanted this month and I was pretty sure they were going to sell out quick. I was ready at noon EST on Monday Feb 3rd, when the sale was supposed to launch, frantically clicking to get the page to load. The site had technical difficulties and they decided to postpone the sale, with no estimated time, but in hopes that it would open the following day.

So, I waited, refreshed, waited, and repeated continuously until Golden Tote announced the sale would not be launched on Tuesday. So, Wednesday I was ready again. I was confident it would open at some point. So my computer was ready. I had my email and Facebook up waiting for a notification of when the sale would launch. And it finally did around 4 pm EST. And I was able to order what I wanted (with a lot of clicking and reloading). This month I ordered a $149 tote and chose the Bright & Breezy Wrap Cardigan and the Chic Chevron Sweater.

When my order was confirmed I felt relieved and I could finally go back to living a normal life. Wow, I never realized how much I'm addicted until I reflect back on my neurotic actions. And yet I feel accomplished that my tote is going to have exactly what I wanted. These pieces sold out quick, which I had anticipated. And now the wait begins to see if I get the coveted dress they revealed in a spoiler email (that is the main reason I ordered this month and who knows if it will show up in my tote). Aghhh the anticipation!

What's been on your mind lately?

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I just found out about a new subscription box called Celebrate American Made that launched in December 2013 with a Wyoming themed box. Boxes are $39.95/month and include local artisan foods and crafts from the featured state. The state that will be featured in January is Virginia, February will be Arizona, and March will be Colorado. The Wyoming box included bbq sauce and other spices for cooking and also some yarn to do a knitting project. It looked like a well thought out box and though I've never been to Wyoming, I think they got it right! I can't wait to see what's in the upcoming boxes. If you'd like to subscribe or check out their website, which includes lots of information and fun facts (even recipes) click here

I'm looking forward to seeing the January boxes for all the subscriptions I subscribe to. I can't wait to see if there are any changes for the new year with packaging or anything else! And I seriously need to make a list of everything I am getting, so I don't lose track. Plus add the ones I want to try next!

I was able to snag a Golden Tote January Mystery Tote. They sold out quick!!! For $50, it will include 4 surprise items, one Puella dress from a past season (Yay!!!!!!!), one item from a previous $149 tote, and two other items, with a total value up to $300. I'm so excited for this tote (I even had a dream about it) and though I received my tracking number and it has shipped it does not appear to be on the move yet.

I'm planning to do some giveaways and I have ideas for a few, but haven't had time to get anything together and take pictures. I promise I'll get to it soon, so check back!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I finally decorated the house for Christmas and put up a toddler friendly tree. It's a felt tree, with felt ornaments that stick to it, that my daughter can rearrange as she likes. And the presents will still go under the tree on the floor. I'm happy with it and it was an easy project to make! Now I just have to start wrapping presents...

I finally found a sippy cup for my daughter that she likes and it doesn't leak. I couldn't be happier. My daughter always finds a way to spill the "leak proof" cups. I have been unsuccessful (until now) in finding one she couldn't figure out. And the ones you need to bite to get the liquid out just didn't work for her. She'd get frustrated trying to drink out of them. So the winning sippy cup (in our house) is the Nuk Active Cup. It's cute, doesn't have extra inside pieces, isn't too round and difficult to hold (it's slightly larger than a bottle), and best of all doesn't leak!!! I'm in love!!!

I'm hoping a few of my subscription boxes that are in transit show up this week. I really want to see the Popsugar Must Have Special Edition Holiday for Him box. (I'm going to open it to check it out, even though it's a gift) And I'm excited to see my Birchbox this month. I peeked at what I'd be getting and I'm excited to try everything out, especially the Honest Co Hand Cream. I was hoping I'd get it when I watched the spoiler video!

Oh, and one more thing. I'm still spoiler free for the Popsugar Must Have Neiman Marcus box. I can't believe I've made it this far, so I'm sure I'll make it to Christmas now! I'd disappoint myself if I peeked. And because of that I'm so excited for Christmas this year. I can't wait to see what is in that box!!! And my daughter is going to be so much fun this year! She's going to love her Big Hugs Elmo. She doesn't talk much, but she does repetitively say Elmo whenever she sees him.

Thursday Thoughts

I’m linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I still haven’t peeked at any spoilers for the Popsugar Must Have Neiman Marcus box and now I think the temptation is over because it's a new month and I can’t wait to see what I get in this month’s boxes! And there are only a few weeks until Christmas!!!

I finally signed up for Wantable Intimates when they offered their Cyber Monday deal and my 2nd box is free! I’m so excited to see what I get in my first box and I should have it by Dec 9th. Woo Hoo!!!

I’m very proud of myself for skipping Stitch Fix, Popbasic, and Golden Tote this month (because my credit cards are a bit crazy with all the holiday shopping). These are the most expensive boxes that I usually buy each month, so I decided to skip them to save some money to buy for others! Hopefully I have a great Christmas because I’m being very good!!! Wink wink

I still need to decorate for Christmas, but I’m having a very difficult time deciding where I will put the tree and how to keep my toddler (1 1/2 yr old) away from it without using a gate (because we don’t have room for one). Does anyone have any creative ideas for me? We usually put up an artificial tree, but I’m open to any suggestions…

What are your Thursday Thoughts?

*The links for Popsugar Must Have, Stitch Fix, and Wantable Intimates provided above are referral links and I will receive a small credit if you subscribe using my links. Thank you!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I made it through another week of not looking at any spoilers of the Popsugar Neiman Marcus Special Edition Box (and not opening the box at my house). I hope I can make it until Christmas! Next week I am expecting Golden Tote and Stitch Fix, so I'm hoping that will keep me busy, so I'm not tempted to peek at what's in the Popsugar NM box.

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. Yummy food and hanging out with family. Yay! Plus a very short work week!!!

Who's planning on going shopping Black Friday?!? I usually go and probably will this year too. Just not sure what I'm looking for. I still have a lot of Christmas shopping to do, so I need to figure out what I still need to buy. And hopefully I'll get some good deals! It really seems like a lot of stores have some great sales going on early this year. Love that!

If you don't already subscribe to Citrus Lane for your little one, now is the time to subscribe. They have the "Best Deals of 2013" going on now. A monthly subscription is regularly $25 for 4-5 items each month (toys, books, feeding, and care products). Right now you can purchase a 3-month subscription for $56 + free shipping ($18.67/month), 6-month subscription for $105 + free shipping ($17.50/month), 12-month subscription for $196 + free shipping ($16.33/month). These deals will not last long!!!

Citrus Lane
Use the code CANTSTOP to save $5 on your subscription to Quilty Box (valid through 12/15). I purchased a subscription for my mom for Christmas and she loves it! They recently added an option that you can click on from the subscribe page on their website if you want to order a non recurring gift subscription, which is perfect for the holidays!!!

Use the code CANTSTOP5 to save $5 off your subscription to Sparaj (valid through 12/31). I love this subscription for gifting! The presentation is AMAZING and the spa products will be welcomed by anyone who deserves a little pampering!!!

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts.

I finally started my Christmas Shopping and I've made a list of most of the things that I still need to buy. So I feel very accomplished. But there are still a few people that I have no ideas for. What is your favorite gift you are giving this year? Or what do you hope you get?

I've been very good and have avoided Popsugar Must Have Neiman Marcus Box spoilers and reviews. I know my NM box arrived today (even though my regular monthly Popsugar Must Have box hasn't arrived yet), but I am waiting until Christmas morning to open the NM box. I'm trying to go spoiler free until then, which is truly torturous because I really want to know what's going to be in it. I keep asking my guy (who bought it for me) if he'll look at the reviews to "make sure" I'll like it, but he doesn't want to spoil the surprise. Guess I'll just have to wait!

I keep seeing so many great deals on subscriptions or gifts with purchases and it's making me want to buy EVERYTHING. I'm really trying to control myself and concentrate on getting my Christmas shopping done first.

I wish I could enjoy cooking. I've tried to cook a few things from The Can't Cook Book I received in October's Popsugar Must Have Box and they came out decent and edible, but I just don't want to cook after I long day at work. I'm not sure that will ever change. And with the holidays coming the last thing I want to do is cook, but I'm looking forward to eating all the yummy food!!! I do love to eat and appreciate everyone's hard work of preparing the food!

I received an email today from ThredUp saying they received my bag. I forgot I sent in some clothes to try to get credit for Stitch Fix (they included a ThredUp bag in my October fix). I really have a lot to clean out, so I might be sending more. Not sure why I haven't done it sooner.

What's on your mind today?

PopSugar for Him
I have to get started on my Christmas Shopping (because I feel really behind this year), and I want to buy everyone on my list subscription boxes, but keep buying them for myself instead. Ooops. Maybe I'll buy the Popsugar Special Edition Holiday for Him Box for my guy, since he already bought the Popsugar Special Edition Neiman Marcus Box for me (sorry the NM limited edition box is sold out). And we'll have a Holly Jolly Popsugar Christmas!!!

November Theme Subscription BoxFor all your crafty, quilter friends use the code CANTSTOP to save $5 on your subscription to Quilty Box (valid through 12/15). November's theme is Time and the first box was a hit. Check out my review here to see what I got. I'll also be posting pictures of the final products created from the contents of the box soon.

I get so excited when I start seeing shipping notices for multiple subscriptions, but why do they all seem to arrive at the same time. I'd love it if I got them spread out throughout the whole month instead of all on one or two days. That's just me being silly though. When I see those packages sitting on my doorstep it makes my whole day!

I love watching my daughter grow and learn every day. She's so much fun at this age (16 months). My favorite memory this week was when I wore my Mimi necklace from the Popbasic Rubi Collection and when she saw it she said oooooooohhhhh and her eyes lit right up. I'm going to have a problem with her if she's already attracted to sparkly jewels, but I LOVE it!!!!

What are your Thursday Thoughts?
