This is a different type of post from my usual subscription box posts. Today I'm reviewing an online website for glasses, prescription glasses, and prescription sunglasses. GlassesShop.com allows individuals to shop for prescription glasses and sunglasses in the comfort of their home. They have a lot of styles to choose from, so I'm sure there is something for everyone.

I was approached by GlassesShop.com to review a pair of glasses or sunglasses of my choice, so of course I agreed. I don't wear prescription glasses, so I opted to try a pair of sunglasses. I can always use an extra pair of sunglasses! I perused the glasses online and chose a pair that I liked. I wasn't sure what to expect for shipping time and packaging. The shipping was fast and the glasses were packaged in a small plain white box the size of a glasses case.

Here is a picture of the case the glasses were shipped in. This was right inside the small white box and the glasses arrived in perfect condition.

When I opened up the case the sunglasses were wrapped in a microfiber cloth. I liked that because they were very protected! And it made the presentation nice.

And the moment I was waiting for...the sunglasses. I flipped open the cloth to see the glasses I chose. They were as I expected and I really liked them. I chose tortoise sunglasses with an orange mirrored lens. I have pale skin and black glasses don't usually work for me, so I was very pleased with the wide variety of colors GlassesShop.com provided!

Now, I have to be honest with you...I have a very hard time shopping for glasses online, because my head is small and bigger glasses/sunglasses look funny on me because they take up half my face. I really liked the look of these on the website, so I took a chance, but they are very large on me. I wasn't able to take a picture of them on me because of this. I noticed on GlassesShop.com you can shop by size including narrow, average, wide, and extra wide which is helpful. Unfortunately, the narrow category does not have any items currently. 

I do like the quality and look of these sunglasses and that they can also be used as prescription sunglasses when you add your prescription at checkout is great! The variety and prices are very reasonable, so GlassesShop.com is definitely worth checking out. Most of the glasses come with either a non prescription lens or prescription and some have the option of a sunglasses lens that you can add your prescription to also. I will be checking back for them to add narrow glasses, so I can get some that fit my face better!

Love with Food August 2016

I received my Love with Food August box last week. I still haven't tried all the snacks this month, so I won't be able to comment on everything, but I wanted to show you what we received.

Usually Love with Food includes an information card explaining everything in the box, but this month we didn't get one.

The first snack we received was Ocean's Halo Texas BBQ Seaweed Snack. This doesn't really appeal to me so I haven't tried it yet. I don't really like BBQ flavored snacks and I'm not fond of seaweed, so I may be passing this snack off to someone else.

My daughter ate the Chocolate Crispy Rice Bar. I tried a little and it was really good. She really liked it!

My daughter also ate the Fru-licious Fruit & Cream Smoothie. This was super sweet, it tasted like pure sugar. She tried a tiny bit and didn't like it. I tried it too and it was far too sweet, so this isn't something we'll try again.

We've received powdered peanut butter in a previous box. Before Love with Food I didn't know this product existed. We haven't tried this yet.

We received a different flavor of Goodie Girl Cookies in a previous box. I haven't tried the Quinoa Choco-Chip flavor yet, but I really liked the last ones we received, so I'm sure these will be good too.

We also received PopCorners Carnival Kettle. These are great! They were the perfect mix of salty and sweet and I liked the subtle corn chip flavor. I would definitely buy these again!

We haven't tried the Sheffa Zesty Snack Mix yet. This looks good, but I haven't been in the mood for it yet.

The final snack included was Chimes Toasted Coconut Toffee. I haven't tried these yet. My daughter has been asking to try one, but we still haven't. They look yummy though!

The Love with Food August box included some good snacks. I'm still kind of disappointed with the variety each month. We seem to be getting a lot of the same snacks each month, so I won't be re-subscribing once our year is up.

Pusheen Box Summer 2016

My niece subscribes to the Pusheen Box and I've been impressed by what she receives each quarter, so I decided to do a review of the Summer box she received. This box is always perfectly curated for the season and if you love Pusheen you'll love all the cuteness in this box! Even the box looks like Pusheen and is totally adorable!

There is always an information card explaining everything in the box. This looks like a fun summer box!!!

Each quarter the box includes an exclusive vinyl figure. This month is Mermaid Pusheen! I love love love this and wish I subscribed to the box to get this. I have a thing for mermaids and my daughter loves them too! So cute and great detail!

The next item included was Pusheen sunglasses! I love these too! Such a fun summer accessory to show your love of Pusheen!!!

For your summer drinks they included Pusheen ice cube molds. So cute floating in drinks! And perfect for entertaining friends!

My niece loves the flip flops that were included. They're so fun and the print really matches her personality!

Also included this quarter was a Pusheen iron on patch. I'm not sure what my niece will use this on, but it's cute! I'm sure she'll find the perfect place for it.

This is a picture of the beach ball that was included, but it is not blown up, so it just shows it folded in the packaging. It looks great in the photo on the information card though. My niece hasn't used it yet, so she didn't want to blow it up for the picture.

My niece's favorite item in this quarter's box was this weekend bag. It's huge and perfect for nights at her friend's houses and vacations away from home this summer. This is very much her style. I can totally picture her carrying this around a lot!

I love this drink cup, featuring Mermaid Pusheen! I seriously love mermaids!!! So adorable. I want this for myself!!!

The final item included was a Pusheen Beach Towel. She hasn't opened this up yet. It arrived compressed in a small package, but the information card shows what the towel looks like.

The Pusheen Summer box was great! Each quarter has been amazing with this box. My niece receives lots of useful items featuring Pusheen. If you know a Pusheen lover, I highly recommend this quarterly subscription. You definitely won't be disappointed. It includes the cutest, functional products quarter after quarter. I can't wait to see what she gets for Fall.
