Popsugar Must Have May 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I received my May Popsugar Must Have Box this week. I looked at spoilers and wasn't too excited for this month. I was hoping I'd like everything better in person.

Popsugar always includes an information card explaining everything in the box for the month. This month's inspiration was Fitness, Relaxation, Health, Hydration, Yoga, and Deep Breaths. I'm not really one who exercises (I should), but I don't, so I wasn't sure I'd like this box.

The first item included in the box was Bluma Project Capri Bracelets Set of 2. Retail price $44. These bracelets are handcrafted by Guatemalan artisans. They came packaged in the cutest little cloth bag and they're beaded bracelets that are so dainty and I love them! The colors are neutral and will go with everything. I love the fringe tassel too! These will look great with the tassel necklace we received in a prior Popsugar box. These are bracelets I will wear all summer long.

The next item included was Kocostar Foot Therapy. Retail price $10. This is an item I've purchased and tried before receiving it in this box. I really like it. This is exactly what I need to make my feet ready for summer!

I also received Spongelle Spongology Body Buffer. Retail price $20. This smells so good and I can't wait to try it. The whole box smelled real good when I opened it and I'm pretty sure it was this!

The item I wish I would use, but know I probably won't was the Gaiam Foldable Yoga Mat. Retail price $24.98. This color is exclusive to Popsugar! I should exercise. I keep telling myself I need to get in a routine, take classes, do something. I'm not as thin as I once was and I'd like to get healthy, but in all honesty I don't make the time for it. It's a horrible excuse and hopefully the yoga mat will be a reminder that I need to start exercising more!

I was so happy to see Happy Spritz Breathe Deeply spray in the box. Retail price $25. This is made with peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils. I'm really interested in aromatherapy lately and love these types of scents. This smells refreshing and I will use this all the time!

The final item included was Jimmybar! Peanut Butter Clutter Clean Bar Snack. Retail price $2.49. I haven't tried this yet. I hope it's yummy!

There was also a few extra items included this month! The first was Hint Kick. Retail price $1.69. This is a drink infused with caffeine and I haven't tried it yet. I'm not really big on energy drinks, but I'll try it. This one looks like it might taste good!

Another extra item was Revlon Volume + Length Magnifed Mascara. Retail price $8.99. I never complain about getting mascara, because I use it every day and I can always use more. I was happy this was included!

The final extra item included was Half Hitch Goods $10 Gift Card. This website looks interesting and I'm sure I'll find something to buy. They have cute household items!

I was pleasantly surprised by the May Popsugar Must Have box. I thought I wouldn't like anything in the box this month, but I actually liked almost everything. I think my subscription ends this month and I'm not sure if I'll re-subscribe or not. I've been getting Popsugar for years so I'll be sad to see it go, but I just keep accumulating more stuff that I don't really need.

Love with Food May 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my May Love with Food box earlier in the month. I've tried quite a few of the snacks included in the box this month, but not all of them yet. I really enjoy these boxes and love trying new stuff. My daughter loves them too!

Love with Food always includes an information card explaining all the snacks included for the month. They also include some extra coupons too.

The first snack I tried was Skinnypop Dusted Dark Chocolate Popcorn. This was odd. It was like a chocolate powder dusted on the popcorn, which the name suggests, but I thought it'd be chocolate dipped popcorn. It was pretty yummy and didn't have an over powering chocolate flavor, which was good.

My daughter ate the Glee Gum Pop. I didn't get to try it, but she really liked it! She did let me smell it and it smelled fruity and delicious!!!

My daughter also ate the Surf Sweets Organic Jelly Beans. I did get to try one and they were good. The flavor was sweet and I would try them again. She loved them!

My daughter also ate the Smooze Pink Guava + Coconut Fruit Ice. This was delicious! She kept asking for more. I definitely want to buy these! They were fruity and sweet and I don't feel bad about letting her eat them. Plus they're a great summer treat!

My daughter also ate the Kutoa Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar. I guess she ate most of the snacks this month, haha. She thought this was a chocolate bar and really liked it. (I didn't tell her it wasn't.) She loved eating it because she thought it was a treat. I tried some too and it was good. I don't always like these types of bars, but this one had just enough flavor and a nice consistency. It was good.

One snack I haven't tried yet is Biena Foods Chickpea Snacks. These look good, but I haven't had a craving for them yet.

I also haven't tried Emily's Chocolate Northwest Trail Mix. I love trail mix and I'm sure this will be great. My daughter will probably want to eat this next!

I loved the Sheila G's Chocolate Chip Brownie Brittle. This was my favorite snack in this month's box so far. It was crunchy and yummy, just like the crisp part of brownies!

The bonus item included this month was Smarty Pants Women's Complete Gummy Vitamins. I've tried these before and they're ok. The sample packs never give you the full daily dose, so I find that odd. I like to take one multi vitamin a day, but with these I think the daily dose was 6 or 8 (I threw the package out so I can't remember). That seems like a lot to remember to take in one day and I'm not sure I could eat that many at once.

I really enjoyed the May Love with Food Box. All the snacks we've tried so far were good. I've found a few this month that I'd like to buy! I can't wait to see what we get in June.
