Rothy's Kids Loafers

Of course when Rothy's launched Kids Loafers I ordered a pair for my daughter immediately! I couldn't wait for her to be as hooked on them as I was. She chose Flamingo pink and I couldn't be happier!!! We (not so patiently) waited for them to arrive. Actually, I ordered when we were on vacation and they were supposed to arrive the day we got home, so not a bad wait at all!

But when we got home they didn't arrive and I noticed the tracking had no updates for a couple days. I gave it a day or 2 and when I noticed still no updates I called USPS to inquire about them. I was told to fill out a missing mail form. I then called Rothy's to see if they could do anything and they shipped out another pair. So, the wait was longer than normal, but we did get the second pair.

Then my daughter tried them and I couldn't wait for her to fall in love! I ordered a half size larger than the size she wears in all her other shoes. But these were tiny and she complained immediately about them being too small, so back they went. And I am still waiting for the correct size to arrive, but I took some pics to show you how adorable and bright they are.

I also wanted to talk a little about the sizing, because it seemed quite off to me. My daughter wears an 11 or 11.5, so I ordered a size 12 in the Rothy's Loafers. This is a pic with my daughter's sketchers in a size 11.5. They were quite a bit smaller. The Rothy's in size 12 measured 19.5 cm and I'm told the size 1 measures 20.5 cm, which is the size I exchanged for and am hoping they fit. I should receive them in a couple days and I will update how they fit.

They also released a lot of great new colors for women today, so check them out! If you haven't purchased Rothy's yet, but would like to try them use my link to save $20 off your first pair!!!

Update: My daughter received the size 1 and they were huge on her. I exchanged them for a size 13 and they are the right fit....finally!!!

FabFitFun Summer 2018 Review

I've been subscribing to FabFitFun since Winter and I LOVE this subscription! I haven't reviewed it yet, because there are always lots of reviews. This quarter there was quite a bit of variety, so I wanted to do a review. Plus I absolutely loved everything!

I'm an annual subscriber, so I get to see the choices for some of the items before the box ships and choose my favorites! I love this and I highly recommend subscribing annually so you're able to choose too. Plus this box is so amazing each quarter and with the customization you'll be happy you're getting a full year of it (I know I am)! The magazine on the top that explains all the items is great! It always gives amazing suggestions of how to use everything and lets you see the items you didn't select too.

This is what I saw when I ripped open the tissue paper and I was very happy! Everything is packaged very nicely and the box is always a fun print too. The first spoiler for the Summer 2018 FabFitFun box was an item that isn't available yet. This is it's exclusive launch and I was extremely happy to see we'd be getting this in the box! It's the Foreo Luna fofo. Retail price $89. If this was the only item in the box it's already greater than what you pay for the box! There was multiple colors, so I was excited to see which one I'd get. As you can see I got purple, which is nice! All the colors are pretty, so I would have been happy with any of them. This has batteries you can change and also can be connected to an app to get a personalized skin profile. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll probably post an update when I do!

The next item I was able to choose between a Yumi Kim Makeup Train Case in 2 colors or a Summer & Rose Beach Towel in 2 prints. I chose the Summer & Rose Beach Towel in a pineapple print. Retail price $55. Another item that costs more than what you pay for the box! This is large and is microfiber so sand won't stick to it, but it still feels soft and comfy. Not as plush as terry towels, but very soft! A new towel to start out Summer is always the best!

I love the print I selected and think it goes perfect with my beach essentials! I love pops of color, especially in the summer. And fruit prints are one of my favorites!

Every subscriber received the Coola Face Sport SPF 50 White Tea Moisturizer. Retail price $32. This is my favorite brand of sunscreen, so I was very happy to see this in the box. I haven't tried this scent, but am very excited for it!

Every subscriber also received the Pier 1 Imports Marble Ring Dish. Retail price $14.99. To me, this is the one item that really didn't go with the beachy summer theme of the FabFitFun Summer box. I like it. It looks classic in marble with gold trim to go with any decor, and I'll definitely find a place for it. But it seemed kinda out of place in this box. I'm not complaining though, because I do like it and I'm glad it was included!

Annual subscribers were able to choose between Orlando Pita Play Atmos-Shield Hair Protectant Treatment Spray or Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel. I chose the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel. Retail price $45. I thought I could use the peel more this time and I thought the papaya sounded interesting. This is supposed to be a heavy cream and not like other masks. I can't wait to try it!

Annual subscribers could choose between the Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Highlight and Contour Palette or the Tarte Tarteist Pro To Go Palette and Sex Kitten Liquid Liner. I chose the Pro To Go Palette and Liquid Liner. Retail price $43. I knew I wouldn't use the highlight and contour palette this time of year and I needed a new liner. Plus I'm always up for a new shadow palette. I love Tarte products, so I was so happy this was included!

Here is a close up of the eye shadow. I love the neutral shades, some with shimmer, some matte. My favorite is dominate, a perfect eggplant shade!

And the cap on the liquid liner is too cute! Love it! It makes me smile.

The next choice item was between Erth Tu Y Yo Ring, Jaboneria Marianella Hawaiian Black Lava Body Caviar, or Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel. I chose the Jaboneria Marianella Hawaiian Black Lava Body Caviar. Retail price $48. I've never tried anything like this, so I was very intrigued. I haven't tried it yet, but I use a facial cleanser with charcoal that I love, so I'm sure I'll love this too!

There was a lot of choice items this quarter. The final choice was between Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator, Maji Sports Loop Resistance Band, or Minor History Post Script Wallet. I chose the Minor History Post Script Wallet. Retail price $20. I was torn between the Vasanti Brighten Up and the wallet. I use the Vasanti Brighten Up regularly and absolutely love how it cleanses my skin, but I already have it, so I decided to choose something different. The wallet is a pretty coral and gold color. It looks very summery and will be perfect for credit cards and cash. It's small and won't fit anything else, but perfect to throw in a larger bag and grab it when you just need cash.

FabFitFun also teamed up with the Wildlife Conservation Society for the Give A Sip campaign. They sent paper straws to subscribers. Mine had adorable turtles on it and my daughter used it right away. Also, if you go to giveasip.us you can pledge to use less plastic and you'll be sent a free, reusable stainless steel straw! And if you make a donation of $25 or more, you'll receive a set of stainless steel straws!

I loved the FabFitFun Summer 2018 box and will use everything! My favorite item was the Foreo Luna fofo! What was yours??? If you're not a subscriber, use my referral link to save $10 off your first box!

Rothy's....a New Pair!

I bought another pair of Rothy's and I'm reviewing them because they're still available on the website and I bought a half size up from my regular size, so I thought I'd give my thoughts. My first pair of points I bought in my regular size 9. I bought the Magenta Racing Stripe in a size 9.5. They fit a little big, but are still comfortable. I've worn them probably about 5 times already and they don't slip off my feet and they are just as comfortable as all my others! I feel like I can wear my regular size 9 or a 9.5 and they are both comfortable. I don't prefer one size over the other like others do.

These are a purplish color with light blue stripes on the side. I thought they would go with so much in my wardrobe and I love how they look with jeans. I'm really wanting some more bright Rothy's for the summer, and am waiting for some new releases. I'm not sure how often Rothy's releases new colors, but I hope they do soon!

My collection of Rothy's is definitely not complete! These are my favorite shoes and I wear a pair daily. They are so comfortable all day at work. I do want to mention that if you love a pair and your size is available buy them, don't wait! I've been waiting for one pair in particular to come back in stock in my size and it's been months. So if you see a pair you must have, get them, because you might miss out on them in your size. These shoes do sell out quickly!
If you haven't tried Rothy's yet and you'd like to save $20 on your first purchase, use my referral link. And if you love them too, feel free to comment with your thoughts!!!

Rothy's Update...In Love!!!

So, it's been a while since my last post about Rothy's shoes and I wanted to give an update about how I feel about the shoes since first trying them in the Fall. I love them! And I'm not just saying that. They are so comfortable, like wear all day at work and could wear them longer. Tested them all day walking in Disneyland (that's a lot of walking) and my feet felt great! I also bought a couple more pairs and find myself wearing a pair every day.

I believe the styles I own are no longer available on the website (but I'll post pics anyways). Colors are only available for a limited time and new colors are added. There is always a lot of variety to choose from. They come in round toe flats, point toe, and now loafers! I started with gray round toe flats and they go with just about everything. The next Rothy's I added were pink heel stripes! I love a pop of color, so I wear these a lot. I also should mention that I took these pics today after multiple wears and washes and they hold up amazing. Still look like new in my opinion.

I wear Rothy's both with and without socks. I live in NY, so it's cold most of the year and I didn't want to put them away for the winter, so I wore them with socks (so my feet wouldn't get frostbite). These add a great pop of color to my outfits. I also wear a lot of pink and these match a lot in my wardrobe. There isn't a lot of bright colors on Rothy's site currently, but I'm sure they will be adding more as we head into Spring and Summer! I can't wait! The color is vibrant and as you can see there has been no fading or bleeding even through multiple washes. I wash them in cold water in my washing machine and they come out looking new!

After owning and loving two pairs of round toe flats, I knew it was time for a point toe, so I purchased the teal python! These are a muted teal color and black, so they really go with absolutely everything in my wardrobe (and even if they don't, I wear them anyways). To be honest there isn't a color of Rothy's I don't like and I wish I could buy them all! The reviews said to size up in the points, but they were out of the half size up, so I ordered my regular size. I was nervous that they would be too small, but I like how they fit. They are a little snug and I might try a half size up if I order more, but my regular size is not uncomfortable at all even when worn all day long!

These get the most wear and I think they also still look like brand new! Rothy's are my go to work shoe. I work in an office and flats are most comfortable to me and the points look a little dressier, so they're perfect! I've also received so many complements when I wear them. And I always rave about them, because I seriously love them and haven't bought any other brand of flats, since I got hooked on Rothy's. I'll show a close up pic of the pattern, because it's difficult to see in the last pic.

These are beautiful! I know you would think that shoes made from recycled bottles might feel kinda hard and stiff, but these feel just like woven fabric and really mold to your foot, making them unbelievably comfortable. Rothy's also has free shipping and returns, so no risk to try. If you try them and hate them you can send them back at no cost to you.

I'd also like to give you an update on how my first pair is holding up. They still look new after multiple wears and washes. And I wear them a lot (like I said I wear Rothy's every day). Here they are, looking fabulous!

And the soles may look a little dirty, because I haven't washed them lately. But they are still in perfect condition and they have not come apart from the shoe (not that I'd expect them too). The quality is great and though they are a pricey shoe, they are well worth it!

And now that the loafer style is available, I think I'll be buying a pair! If you haven't tried Rothy's and you'd like to, use any link in this post and you'll save $20 on your first purchase!

Here are some of my favorites available on the site now!

Berry Colorblock Flat

Cherry Ribbon Stripe Flat

Magenta Racing Point

Marigold Point

Dark Red Loafer

Taupe Heather Loafer
