Love with Food September 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my September Love with Food box last week and had a chance to try most of the snacks. We get a lot of the same kinds of snacks each month, so I don't think I'll miss this subscription when it runs out. My daughter loves it though. She gets excited when she sees the red box on the counter and always checks out what is inside.

I think Love with Food stopped including information cards explaining what is in the box, because we didn't get one for the second month. They include a card, but it doesn't say what's in the box.

The first sample included was Loacker Cocoa & Milk. These were yummy cookies that didn't taste overly sweet. I liked them!

The next item was hard candies. I didn't get a chance to try these because my daughter ate them. She said they were good!

The Cosmos Creations Caramel Apple Crisp Premium Puffed Corn was my favorite snack this month. It tasted like the perfect Fall snack! It had a great apple caramel flavor and the crisps were light and crunchy. Yum!

I wasn't sure I would like the Lance Gluten Free Cheddar Cheese Bite Size Sandwich Crackers. These were much better than I expected. They didn't taste gluten free at all, they were very light and crispy and tasted just like regular cheese crackers. This was a welcome surprise!

The Super Food Bunches of Crunches is one snack we haven't tried yet. It looks good!

The Black Forest Organic Gummy Cherries were sweeter than I expected. These weren't my favorite snack. I thought my daughter would love them, but she ate a couple and didn't want any more. Too sweet for us all.

I don't really like bars like the Orchard Bar Bites Strawberry, Raspberry, and Walnut. I tried this when I was really hungry and it tasted like all natural ingredients, but was much too sweet for me. I expected it to just have a little fruit, but this was packed with fruit. It wasn't what I expected.

The final snack included was Vermont Uncured Pepperoni Turkey Stick. I don't like these types of snacks and usually don't try them. My daughter reached for this yesterday and made me try a bite first. I didn't like it, but like I said I don't like these types of snacks, so I wasn't surprised. It was a little spicy, so my daughter didn't like it either.

The September Love with Food was okay. It had some good snacks and some snacks I wouldn't try again. I hope they send something different next month, maybe something pumpkin favored for October, because that's my favorite!

Love with Food August 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my Love with Food August box last week. I still haven't tried all the snacks this month, so I won't be able to comment on everything, but I wanted to show you what we received.

Usually Love with Food includes an information card explaining everything in the box, but this month we didn't get one.

The first snack we received was Ocean's Halo Texas BBQ Seaweed Snack. This doesn't really appeal to me so I haven't tried it yet. I don't really like BBQ flavored snacks and I'm not fond of seaweed, so I may be passing this snack off to someone else.

My daughter ate the Chocolate Crispy Rice Bar. I tried a little and it was really good. She really liked it!

My daughter also ate the Fru-licious Fruit & Cream Smoothie. This was super sweet, it tasted like pure sugar. She tried a tiny bit and didn't like it. I tried it too and it was far too sweet, so this isn't something we'll try again.

We've received powdered peanut butter in a previous box. Before Love with Food I didn't know this product existed. We haven't tried this yet.

We received a different flavor of Goodie Girl Cookies in a previous box. I haven't tried the Quinoa Choco-Chip flavor yet, but I really liked the last ones we received, so I'm sure these will be good too.

We also received PopCorners Carnival Kettle. These are great! They were the perfect mix of salty and sweet and I liked the subtle corn chip flavor. I would definitely buy these again!

We haven't tried the Sheffa Zesty Snack Mix yet. This looks good, but I haven't been in the mood for it yet.

The final snack included was Chimes Toasted Coconut Toffee. I haven't tried these yet. My daughter has been asking to try one, but we still haven't. They look yummy though!

The Love with Food August box included some good snacks. I'm still kind of disappointed with the variety each month. We seem to be getting a lot of the same snacks each month, so I won't be re-subscribing once our year is up.

Love With Food July 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my July Love with Food box earlier in the month and I've tried just about all the snacks this month. I've noticed we get similar snacks each month and some repeats, so I probably won't be re-subscribing when my year is up.

Love with Food always includes an information card explaining everything included for the month.

The first snack we received was Pure Growth Organic Popcorn. My daughter wanted to eat this first, because the packaging had Anna and Elsa on it! It was delicious. I would definitely buy this popcorn again. It was very tasty and it's organic and gluten free!

We also received Pur Mints Mojito Lime Mint. These are yummy mints that have the right amount of lime and mint flavor. Very yummy!

One snack we haven't tried yet is Barney Butter Snack Pack. We received almond butter and I can't wait to try it. I'm sure it will be great!

I'm getting kind of tired of receiving snacks like Luna Protein Berry Greek Yogurt Bar. I really only eat these snacks at work when there is nothing else to eat and I'm starving. I don't really enjoy them.

Another snack included this month was Pretzel Perfection Twice-Baked Tomato Basil Pretzel Snacks. These were good and had just the right amount of flavor. They were a great snack!

We haven't tried the Chef's Cut Original Real Steak Jerky yet. I don't like these types of snacks, so I won't be trying it, but I'm sure my guy will enjoy it.

My daughter ate the Trujoy Sweets Organic Bunny Shaped Lollipop. I didn't realize it was shaped like a bunny until I typed this description, but you can kind of see the face of a bunny in the picture! My daughter really enjoyed this pop!!!

I believe we received the Yumearth Naturals Sour Beans in a previous box too. My daughter really liked these jelly beans, so we didn't mind receiving them again. These were quite sour, so maybe we received regular jelly beans before. I'm not too sure. These were very yummy!

The final item we received was Jimmybar No Bluffin' Banana Muffin. Like I said about the Luna bar, I only eat these when I'm starving and can't find anything else to eat. These types of snacks are not my favorite. I wish we wouldn't receive so many of them each month.

The Love with Food July box was okay, but included a lot of repeat items and nothing that really stood out to me as amazing. Hopefully August will be a better month. We still eat everything each month, so these boxes never go to waste, but there are definitely months we enjoy much more than others.

Love with Food June 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my June Love with Food box earlier in the month, but just finished trying most of the treats for this month. I like getting this snack box each month, to try new stuff. I did notice that we do get quite a few duplicate treats from month to month. I wish they'd send more unique items each month, but besides that I like this subscription.

Here is a first peek inside the box this month.

Love with Food always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. It was a little wrinkled this month.

The first snack included was Sinfully Thin Blue Corn Popcorn. This tasted very light and didn't taste like much of anything, but it was a good snack. I liked it.

The next item was Snapz Original Crunchy Premium Apple Crisps. These were different than other dried fruit I've tried. They were tasty, but they were also bigger slices of apple. Since they were larger when they dried they were kind of hollow in the center, which was odd, but made them taste good and not as tough and crunchy as other dried fruit. I liked these and would buy them again!

The Biscottea Traditional Teatime Shortbread was delicious! I love shortbread cookies and so does my daughter. She took this and ate it all. It was yummy!

We also received Torie & Howard Fruit Chews. These were great! They tasted like starbursts, but I liked the raspberry lemon flavor of these so much more. My daughter ate one and I ate one and we both wanted more!

The Raw Rev Glo Creamy Peanut Butter & Sea Salt Bar is the only snack I haven't tried yet. I will be eating this as a snack at work this week.

One item we've received in a previous box was the You Love Fruit Leather in Mango. I didn't mind getting these again, because I really like them. These are yummy and healthy! And I love that they are shaped like little hearts.

We also received Wild Garden Sundried Tomato Hummus Dip. I love hummus and this was very tasty. I just didn't like the packaging of this. You still had to put this in a bowl to eat it. Besides that I'd buy this again.

The final snack included was Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps. These were good. They were an original salted flavor. They tasted like other pretzel crisps I've tried.

The June Love with Food box was good. It didn't have anything I disliked in it. I'm always hoping for new snacks I haven't tried. I can't wait to see what we get in July.

Love with Food May 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my May Love with Food box earlier in the month. I've tried quite a few of the snacks included in the box this month, but not all of them yet. I really enjoy these boxes and love trying new stuff. My daughter loves them too!

Love with Food always includes an information card explaining all the snacks included for the month. They also include some extra coupons too.

The first snack I tried was Skinnypop Dusted Dark Chocolate Popcorn. This was odd. It was like a chocolate powder dusted on the popcorn, which the name suggests, but I thought it'd be chocolate dipped popcorn. It was pretty yummy and didn't have an over powering chocolate flavor, which was good.

My daughter ate the Glee Gum Pop. I didn't get to try it, but she really liked it! She did let me smell it and it smelled fruity and delicious!!!

My daughter also ate the Surf Sweets Organic Jelly Beans. I did get to try one and they were good. The flavor was sweet and I would try them again. She loved them!

My daughter also ate the Smooze Pink Guava + Coconut Fruit Ice. This was delicious! She kept asking for more. I definitely want to buy these! They were fruity and sweet and I don't feel bad about letting her eat them. Plus they're a great summer treat!

My daughter also ate the Kutoa Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar. I guess she ate most of the snacks this month, haha. She thought this was a chocolate bar and really liked it. (I didn't tell her it wasn't.) She loved eating it because she thought it was a treat. I tried some too and it was good. I don't always like these types of bars, but this one had just enough flavor and a nice consistency. It was good.

One snack I haven't tried yet is Biena Foods Chickpea Snacks. These look good, but I haven't had a craving for them yet.

I also haven't tried Emily's Chocolate Northwest Trail Mix. I love trail mix and I'm sure this will be great. My daughter will probably want to eat this next!

I loved the Sheila G's Chocolate Chip Brownie Brittle. This was my favorite snack in this month's box so far. It was crunchy and yummy, just like the crisp part of brownies!

The bonus item included this month was Smarty Pants Women's Complete Gummy Vitamins. I've tried these before and they're ok. The sample packs never give you the full daily dose, so I find that odd. I like to take one multi vitamin a day, but with these I think the daily dose was 6 or 8 (I threw the package out so I can't remember). That seems like a lot to remember to take in one day and I'm not sure I could eat that many at once.

I really enjoyed the May Love with Food Box. All the snacks we've tried so far were good. I've found a few this month that I'd like to buy! I can't wait to see what we get in June.
