Love With Food July 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $10/month

I received my July Love with Food box earlier in the month and I've tried just about all the snacks this month. I've noticed we get similar snacks each month and some repeats, so I probably won't be re-subscribing when my year is up.

Love with Food always includes an information card explaining everything included for the month.

The first snack we received was Pure Growth Organic Popcorn. My daughter wanted to eat this first, because the packaging had Anna and Elsa on it! It was delicious. I would definitely buy this popcorn again. It was very tasty and it's organic and gluten free!

We also received Pur Mints Mojito Lime Mint. These are yummy mints that have the right amount of lime and mint flavor. Very yummy!

One snack we haven't tried yet is Barney Butter Snack Pack. We received almond butter and I can't wait to try it. I'm sure it will be great!

I'm getting kind of tired of receiving snacks like Luna Protein Berry Greek Yogurt Bar. I really only eat these snacks at work when there is nothing else to eat and I'm starving. I don't really enjoy them.

Another snack included this month was Pretzel Perfection Twice-Baked Tomato Basil Pretzel Snacks. These were good and had just the right amount of flavor. They were a great snack!

We haven't tried the Chef's Cut Original Real Steak Jerky yet. I don't like these types of snacks, so I won't be trying it, but I'm sure my guy will enjoy it.

My daughter ate the Trujoy Sweets Organic Bunny Shaped Lollipop. I didn't realize it was shaped like a bunny until I typed this description, but you can kind of see the face of a bunny in the picture! My daughter really enjoyed this pop!!!

I believe we received the Yumearth Naturals Sour Beans in a previous box too. My daughter really liked these jelly beans, so we didn't mind receiving them again. These were quite sour, so maybe we received regular jelly beans before. I'm not too sure. These were very yummy!

The final item we received was Jimmybar No Bluffin' Banana Muffin. Like I said about the Luna bar, I only eat these when I'm starving and can't find anything else to eat. These types of snacks are not my favorite. I wish we wouldn't receive so many of them each month.

The Love with Food July box was okay, but included a lot of repeat items and nothing that really stood out to me as amazing. Hopefully August will be a better month. We still eat everything each month, so these boxes never go to waste, but there are definitely months we enjoy much more than others.

Popsugar Must Have July 2016

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I received my Popsugar Must Have July box yesterday. I had looked at spoilers, so I knew what I'd be getting. I wasn't overly excited for this month's box, but still couldn't wait to see everything in person.

Popsugar Must Have always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. The inspiration this month was Sunny, Retro, Fun, Vintage, Playful, Cheeky, and Warm. I loved the bright yellow color of the information card this month!

The spoiler that was released early for this box was Sachajuan Hair in the Sun. Retail price $32. I like this! It keeps your hair color vibrant during long days in the sun with a UV-filter formula, which doesn't wash out in the pool or ocean. It stays on until you shampoo your hair. I'm going to be using this on myself and my daughter for the rest of the summer!

The next item included was House of Pom Emoji Cocktail Napkins. Retail price $25. These cloth cocktail napkins were designed exclusively for Popsugar. They are adorable and my favorite thing in the box!!! I love the one with a cocktail on it and the bee! These are unique and so much fun!

I also received a Michael Stars Porcelain Skinny Scarf in White. Retail price $30. It says to use this instead of a statement necklace or as a headband. I love both those ideas! I wore this the day after my box arrived and I snapped a pic of my outfit. It's not a very summery outfit because I work in an office and need to dress professionally, plus it's always freezing in my office. I love this scarf and will wear it a lot. The print does look very similar to the sarong we received last month.

Another item included was Pintrill Pineapple Pin. Retail price $12. I am obsessed with anything pineapple, but I'm not sure what to use this pin for. It says you can use it to pin the scarf, but I'm not sure you'd see it, so I'd rather use it for something else. I just need to figure out what!

I also received a Sunnylife Inflatable Swan Drink Holder. Retail price $18. This is so cute! I don't have a pool, but it also says you could use this on a table. I like that idea, not as much as it floating around in the water, but I'm going to try to find a way to use this. Or it may be gifted to someone with a pool that will use it and be able to enjoy it more. I wanted to blow it up to take a picture, but I wasn't sure I'd definitely be keeping it, so I kept it wrapped up in the box instead.

The European Wax Center Oh My Brow! Brow Highlighter in Pearl is a brand I've never tried before. Retail price $19. This is a highlighting illuminator, so you can use it for more than just brows. You can use it on the inner corners of your eyes, on your cheekbones, or lips. I haven't tried this yet, but I do use highlighter, so I know I'll use this!

The snack item included this month was Joe Chips Classic Sea Salt Retro Potato Chips. Retail price $1.49. I haven't tried these yet, but they look like a fun classic potato chip. I love the packaging!

There was also a special extra included this month. It is a $20 gift card for Trove. Trove is a website that sells customizable jewelry. The site has very pretty jewelry, but it's pricey, so I'm not sure I'll use the gift card.

I was happy with the July Popsugar Must Have box. It was a nice summer box! I can't wait to see what we get in August. I've stopped subscribing to most subscription boxes, but this one I just can't quit. I keep thinking I'll miss out on something when I do.
