Popsugar Must Have April 2017

Rating: Love It!!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I received my April Popsugar Must Have box this week. I had looked at spoilers so I knew what I'd be getting, but I love seeing everything in person. I was excited about this box, because I liked everything in it!

Popsugar always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. This month's inspiration was reset, natural, healing, clean, grow, spiritual.

The first item included in the box was Makerskit Crystal Sand Art Terrarium Kit. Retail price $32. This was my favorite item in the box! I love crafts and I love terrariums. We just remodeled our living room and I need decorative items for the built in shelving and this will be perfect in the room. I love that I don't need to spritz the moss or anything. The crystal adds a nice glimmer to it, too! I think this is one of my all time favorite items included in a Popsugar box. And I know it's a good project if I make it immediately, which I did! It was very easy and only took about 5 minutes to complete. And I love the finished piece!!!

The next item included was Morning Culture Dipped Bamboo Cutting Board. Retail price $22. I really like this. The color doesn't really go with my kitchen decor, but I love the pastel purple. It will be pretty to use for entertaining!

I also received Tonic Australia Lavender Sachets. Retail price $15. I love the scent of lavender. These made the whole box smell amazing! I also love the pretty floral fabric. I'm not sure what to use these for yet, because they seem too pretty to hide.

Another item included was The Cottage Greenhouse Carrot & Neroli Rich & Repair Body Wash. Retail price $22. I didn't smell this, but the combination sounds different. I love the packaging! It includes coconut oil, cocoa butter, and honey, so it sounds good. I'm almost out of body wash, so I'll be switching to this soon!!!

I've never been excited about dental floss. In fact, I'm very lazy about flossing every day and it's usually something I often skip (I know it's horrible). The Cocolab Cocofloss included in this box might actually change my non habit of flossing. Retail price $8. Coconut oil infused dental floss sounds like the most luxurious (feel like you're on a tropical vacation) floss! I can't wait to try it. I can't believe I just said that about flossing! Even the packaging is fun, with the clear container, so you know when you're getting low!!!

The snack included this month was Nourish Snacks Holy Habanero. Retail price $1.99. I received two packages. I think I was only supposed to get one. These don't sound like they'll be one of my favorite treats, but I'll try them. These are seasoned corn kernels and I'm not a big fan of spicy snacks.

The special extra included this month was Pronamel Strong & Bright Enamel, Extra Fresh Toothpaste. Retail price $5.99. I'm almost out of toothpaste so this came at the perfect time. It's not exciting, but I'll definitely use it, so I'm happy it was included.

The April Popsugar box included a lot of items I'm excited about. The last box in my 6 month subscription is next month. I can't wait to see what we get. This box will be a difficult one to top in my opinion!

Popsugar Must Have March 2017

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I received my Popsugar Must Have for March this week. I had looked at spoilers, so I knew what was inside, but I'm always excited to see everything in person. I wasn't sure about this month's box after seeing reviews of it.

Popsugar Must Have always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. This month the inspirations were spring fever, playful, travel, nostalgia, carnival, snapshot.

The first item included was Kate Spade New York Photo Album. Retail price $20. I've been begging for Kate Spade to be included in Popsugar Must Have Box on the surveys each month, but I'm not too excited about this photo album. I rarely have photos printed, so I'm not sure I'll use this. I may gift it to someone. I do like the style of it. And I think it'd be a cute idea to print pictures of our latest vacation and keep it on a coffee table, so maybe I'll think about doing that. And then I'd change the pictures after each vacation. I love the polka dot pattern and simple black and white color!

The next item included was Stephanie Johnson Camera Cross-body Bag. Retail price $45. I'm not sure what to think about this. I don't really like the color and I don't really like that it's transparent. I'm not sure what I'd use this for. I like the size and that it's a cross-body bag, but I don't think I'd use it for an every day bag. And I'm not sure what I will use it for.

My favorite item in this month's box was the Sunnylife, LLC Eco Lunch Box Watermelon. Retail price $18. This is so cute and dishwasher safe! I love the recycled look of it. I probably won't use this for my lunch, but I think this would be great for bringing snacks in the car or on trips in the summer. Or I may just keep treats in it on the table, so I get to look at it all the time! I will definitely find a use for this, because it's too cute not to.

I also received Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella. Retail price $24. This is a nice eye highlighter that also has a sharpener on the end. I love those small details that make a product infinitely better! I will definitely use this to brighten up my eyes.

The final item included was Smashmallow Cinnamon Churro. Retail price $4. I haven't tried these yet, but the reviews I read said they were delicious! I'm not crazy about marshmallows, but my daughter is, so I'm sure she'll be trying these with me. They do look yummy and I love the carnival packaging! You can see them through the bottom of the packaging.

The special extra included this month was a $25 Gift Card for Velvet Eyewear. I wish I could take advantage of this and get myself a new pair of sunglasses, but I have a small face, so I always have to try them on. I read the descriptions and they were very detailed about sizes, but they all looked like they'd be too big for me and were described as medium. I wish more sunglasses places would carry small framed sunglasses.

The March Popsugar Must Have Box was okay, but there isn't anything I really needed. And a few things I probably won't use. They'll make good gifts for the right person, but I would have preferred some different items in this month's box. And with the clutch last month (which I loved), I was surprised they sent another bag. It also seemed like this box needed a little more, like a book or something would have been a nice addition. I can't wait to see what I get next month and I think I'm getting close to the end of my 6 month subscription, so then I'll need to figure out if I'll sign up again or not.

Popsugar Must Have February 2017

Rating: Love It!!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I received my Popsugar Must Have February box this week. I was so excited to see what was inside, because I hadn't looked at any spoilers, not even spoilers from Popsugar! This was my Valentine's present and I was hoping it was a great box.

Popsugar always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. The inspiration for this month's box was flirty, love, sweets, positive impact, and romance.

The first item in the box was Tribe Alive Foldover Clutch - Atitlan Brocade. Retail price $98. This is my favorite item in the box! It's a beautiful handwoven clutch that is reversible, so the flap can be worn on either side to change the look. The inside is lined, but doesn't have any pockets. It's a great size clutch to fit all the necessities. I'm going to try to make this clutch work with my Valentine's outfit, so I can wear it to dinner!

The next item included was Battington Lashes Monroe 3D Silk Lashes. Retail price $28. They also included eyelash glue and these can be re-used up to 25 times. I'm not sure I'm the type to wear false lashes. I don't take much time to use make-up or anything. These look kind of natural, so I may try them for Valentine's dinner.

Also included was Kris Nations Jewelry Love Script Necklace. Retail price $48. I have a similar necklace with a small crystal on it, but I love this! It's so dainty and pretty. I'm not sure if I'll gift it to someone or keep it for myself, since I own a similar one. The brand Kris Nations was included in a past box (September 2015). We received X O earrings, which will be so perfect with this necklace. I may wear the pair for Valentine's Day, if I decide to keep it for myself! Plus the packaging on this is totally adorable!

The food item included this month was Chuao Chocolatier Cinnamon Cereal Smooch Chocolate Bar. Retail price $6. I was hoping for chocolate for February. This looks yummy, but I haven't tried it yet! I think I'm going to love the cinnamon and chocolate combination.

The next item included in the box is Juara Skincare Candlenut Body Creme. Retail price $35. My skin needs moisture in the winter, so this is perfect. I get so much body creme in subscription boxes, that I can't use it quick enough. I'm sure I'll get to use this eventually, but it probably won't be right away. Luckily it has a foil wrap, so it will last until I'm ready to use it.

The Special Extra product included this month was Revlon Super Lustrous Love Is On Lipstick. Retail price $7.99. I really like the packaging of this lipstick with it's cursive writing. It's so pretty! I'm not a red lipstick wearing girl. It just feels too bold on me. I'll try it, but I never seem to pick up a red lipstick to wear on a regular basis.

I really liked the February Popsugar Must Have box. The clutch made it totally worth it for me. I love it! I'll try all the items, but I'm not sure I'll love them all and continue to use them. I still think this was a very nicely curated box and everything would be perfect for a date night or Valentine's Day! I can't wait to see what we get for March.

Popsugar Must Have January 2017

Rating: Like It!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I received my PopsugarMust Have January 2017 box this week. It seemed early this month, because I think I usually receive it towards the end of the month, so I was very happy about that. And my box wasn't as destroyed as last month and arrived with the original Popsugar packaging like I'm used to.

Popsugar always includes an information card explain everything in the box. This month's inspiration was new, fresh, detox, motivation, healthy, and revitalize.

The spoiler this month was Goldfaden MD Fresh A Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Peel. Retail price $85. This was smaller than I expected it to be, but I'm sure it will last a long time. I haven't tried it yet, but I can't wait to. It removes dead skin cells and will make skin softer and brighter after continued use. Sounds great to me!

The next item included was May Designs Desk Calendar & Note Card. Retail price $25. I already have a few desk calendars, so I don't really need another one, but I really like this one. I love that the calendar can be used as note cards after the month is over. And I saw somewhere that somebody was going to use them as birthday cards and decorate the month of the birthday and circle the date. I am totally stealing that idea! I love it! And I'm sure I'll find a place to display the calendar too!

I also received Daily Concepts Your Hair Wrap Towel. Retail price $18. I received a towel wrap in my Rachel Zoe Box of Style before and I'll be honest I still haven't tried it. I always think I should, but never remember to. I'll have to try it. I really like the packaging of this one and how it's re-usable for traveling. I'll need to try these and hopefully will love them!

Another item included this month was Manduka eQua Mat Towel in Playa. Retail price $38. So, I still haven't used the yoga mat included in a previous box. I have all intentions of exercising this year and yoga is on my list of things to do, but I haven't started yet. I will use this towel with my yoga mat and that way people will think I know what I'm doing because I'm prepared, even though I'm definitely a beginner!

The next item included was Sourcebooks, Inc Instant Happy Notes. Retail price $8.99. I really like these cute notes. I'll be using them at the office to brighten up my co-worker's day. I hope they enjoy them as much as I do. I took a couple pictures to show the types of sayings included!

I received Dean & Deluca Peppermint Loose Leaf Tea. Retail price $10.75. I love drinking tea in the morning during the winter months to wake me up. I love tea, so I was happy this was included!

I love when Popsugar includes a Special Extra. This month we got a Glade No3 Free Coconut and Beach Woods Candle. Retail price $4.99. This smells great and looks nice too, not like normal glade packaging. It looks very simple, which I like. This reminds me of summer, which I definitely miss this time of year, but I'll probably wait until spring time to burn this candle.

I liked this month's Popsugar Must Have box, but it wasn't one of my favorite boxes. I hope I use everything in the box, but it's not items I would normally buy for myself. I am excited to try the face peel! I hope next month's box is more my style.

Popsugar Must Have December 2016

Rating: Love It!!!!
Cost: $39.95/month

I know I said I was done subscribing to Popsugar Must Have for awhile, but my boyfriend bought me a 6-month subscription for Christmas. Yay! I'm so happy I won't be missing it. I opened the December box on Christmas and hadn't looked at spoilers. The box I received was very damaged and re-packaged in a larger box, so I thought I'd be receiving broken items, but it appears everything arrived in tact. You can tell by my picture the box was in rough shape. The bottom had holes all in it, so I didn't bother trying to get a picture.

Popsugar always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. This month's inspirations were festive, snowy white, minimalist, giving, and celebration.

The Odeme Catchall + Ring Dish was my favorite item in the box. Retail value $67. I love the simplicity of this set. It will look so pretty displayed on my dresser to put my jewelry in. I thought it'd also make a very pretty dish for dip or cheeses, but it has a note that says it's not food safe. And that's probably a good thing, because I'd be sad if this broke and I'm clumsy with dishes. The boxes were damaged on these too, so good thing I'll be keeping them for myself and not gifting them!

The next item included was Baublebar Snowfall Pendant. Retail value $28. This was created exclusively for Popsugar. I love that it's a long necklace and I like the simple, yet unique style. I haven't worn this yet, but I really like it and think it will go with everything.

I also received Mane Message Date Night Bobby Pins. Retail value $10. I love bobby pins, but I don't wear them even though I should. My hair is very boring and could use some pizzazz! And I saw them styled so pretty on a coupon included in the box, that I had to include a picture. I might be trying that look for New Year's Eve!

Another item included was Winky Lux Lip Pill in Bunny. Retail value $14. This is the cutest lipstick packaging. I love it! I always receive dark hued lipsticks in subscription boxes, but I rarely use them. This one is so cute, I'll definitely be throwing it in my bag and using it instead of chapstick throughout the day. It will definitely give my look a great update for the new year!

The Sisters' Gourmet Baker's Dozen Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix looks so good. Retail value $6.99. I'll be waiting a bit to make them, because I've been indulging in too many cookies throughout the holidays. They'll be perfect for Valentine's Day though! And I'll make them heart shaped!

The final item included was Dessange Professional Hair Luxury Color Restore Color Protecting Top Coat Serum. Retail value $11.99. I desperately need to color my hair, so I'll be saving this to use after to make the color last. This was a good reminder that I needed to color my hair, so I was happy to see it included. This box was also a bit mangled.

I really liked the Popsugar Must Have December box. The catchall and ring dish was my favorite. I can't wait to display it! I'm so excited that I'll be getting Popsugar again. I was so sad that I would miss out on great stuff! I can't wait to see what's included next month!!!
