I finally received my Popsugar Must Have August box right before the end of August. This box shipped later than most months. I guess an item was delayed so shipping didn't start until around the 20th of the month. I'm happy I got mine before the end of the month, but I would have liked to receive it sooner, because I love seeing this box each month. And I looked at spoilers, because I couldn't wait to see what we'd be getting this month.
Popsugar Must Have always includes an information card explaining everything in the box. This month I thought I didn't get one because it wasn't right on top like it usually is, but I found it at the bottom of the box. I like reading the information cards to see what Popsugar says about the products. This month's inspiration was motivation, organization, order, fresh, transition, and back-to-school.
The first item I received was Cargo Cosmetics "The Big Easy" Powder Blush. Retail price $26. This was a spoiler for this month, so I knew we'd be getting this. I was happy to receive a light wearable color blush because I have pale skin and my blush is just about gone. This is perfect timing. I will be switching to this very shortly!
The next item included was Cookie Pop Popcorn in Cookies & Cream. Retail price $3.99. This looks like such a yummy snack. I love popcorn and cookie popcorn sounds great. I can't wait to try it and share it with my family!
I also received Unplugged Dusti Screen Cleaner. Retail price $5.99. I wasn't sure what this was until I read the description. These are screen cleaners for your cell phone that can be washed and re-used. You simply stick them on the back of your phone and take them off to use as needed. And they're so cute. I think the cloud is my favorite!
I received the Baggu Duck Bag in Night Mountain. Retail price $26. This bag is made from recycled fabric and has an adjustable strap. I really like the pattern I received much better than the one pictured on the information card. I usually get the pattern I wouldn't choose for myself, but I definitely would have chosen this one. I love the mountain print that doesn't look too literal. It's more like abstract mountains and I love blue, so this bag is perfect! It was my favorite item in this month's box.
The item I was most excited for was the Triple C PowerGloss in Silver. Retail price $30. I saw this when I looked at spoilers and I really needed a portable charger for my cell phone. This one is small and kind of looks like lipstick, which is cute! I needed this, so I'll be putting this to use right away.
The final item included was Christian Lacroix Paris Paseo Sticky Note Folio. Retail price $13. I really like this! It's embossed on the outside and looks very pretty. And the inside is bright colored ombre sticky notes, which I love. I love anything bright, so these are great! And I can always use sticky notes.
I really liked the August Popsugar Must Have box. It was a great mix of products I will use! And since this box shipped so late, it shouldn't be a very long wait for the September box. I can't wait to see what we get!
